Who We Support

Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd envisions a more inclusive society where every pregnant teenager needing support will not feel estranged or marginalised.

Babes was launched on 22 February 2005 as a program under Beyond Social Services. From 1999 to 2003, an average of 5 babies were abandoned each year. We felt that teenagers with unplanned pregnancies needed support so that they do not resort to drastic measures out of desperation and ignorance.

Babes was positioned as a service for teenage girls in a pregnancy crisis. A 24-hour SMS helpline was chosen as the medium of communication as it was an approachable, friendly and non-threatening way for these girls to contact us.

In 2013, Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd was spun off from Beyond Social Services as a separate organisation in order to provide more focus on the issue of teenage pregnancy.

How you can help:

I’m working on developing a curriculum for women at Babes Pregnancy Support Centre to develop skills in areas such as digital marketing and digital literacy skills. If you’re involved in the digital or tech world and have some time to put side into volunteer work, please reach out to me.

Volunteer work would generally include:

  • Organizing of workshops in digital literacy, financial literacy, skill-enhancement workshops
  • Developing and reviewing of curriculums and student progress
  • Mentoring programs, therapy programs
  • General administrative matters

I would like to teach: what's the curriculum like?

We use highly curated online course content as material for classes at Babes Pregnancy Support Centre. Throughout the online course and curriculum, we invite trainers to volunteer some of their time to conduct workshops and activities.

All course materials are sponsored by Mogul Tech International.

What do I have to pay for?

As a volunteer, you’ll only have to cover your transport to the training facility and back.

All course materials (online course fees, etc) are sponsored by Mogul Tech International.

I can't teach - how else can I help?

You can help the women at Babes Pregnancy Support Centre by:

  • Donating directly to their non-profit organization
  • Offer to lease hardware at a subsidized rate – we need laptops, and a variety of other hardware materials for conducting workshops and courses
How do I contact you?

Please email – I look forward to hearing from you.
